We are really excited about being asked to attend the finale of the Clipper Round The World Yacht Race at the Albert Dock on 28th and 29th July. We will be serving our range of Gin and Tonics, Vodka, Pimms, Prosecco, Champagne, beers and Lagers and a few Cocktails.

One of the biggest challenges of the race calendar, a record 40,000 nautical mile race around the world on 70 foot race yachts. 12 teams and over 700 crew members have competed over the last 11 months of racing.

Normally the domain of seasoned pros, this supreme challenge is taken on by ordinary, everyday people. Having completed a rigorous training course, participants are suited and booted in the latest extreme protection gear to commence the race of their lives - an unparalleled challenge where taxi drivers rub shoulders with chief executives, vicars mix with housewives, students work alongside bankers, and engineers team up with rugby players.

Sarah and Dave Loughnane's Wedding

We love attending horse racing events so we were really pleased to receive a booking from Sarah Dave Loughnane to provide our bar services at their post wedding garden party. We had a fantastic evening serving their guests who partied well into the early hours. ‘We booked the Horse & Jockey for our wedding weekend celebrations. They were so easy to deal with from start to finish it meant there was one less thing for us to worry about! The vintage horse trailer looked fantastic in our garden alongside the yurts from Yurtmaker and the live music. Not only did the Horse & Jockey provide the bar but also the majority of the seating for our guests which also looked great. The drinks menu was completely tailored to our event and we were able to request all of our guests favourite drinks! The service from the team was friendly, efficient and professional and all the guests raved about the large drinks selection that was available. We absolutely loved having the Horse & Jockey as a part of our wedding weekend and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone. We will definitely be using them again in the future!’
